How to download a TikTok video

Open the TikTok video you are allowed to save and tap Share.

Save a TikTok video on iPhone or iPad

  1. Copy the link from the TikTok app using Share and Copy link.
  2. Open Safari, visit TiktokDownloads, paste the link, and choose an available video option.
  3. If Safari asks, confirm the download.
  4. Open the Files app, tap Browse, then open Downloads. If the file is not there, check Safari's Downloads control for the transfer status.

Safari download locations can be changed in iPhone settings, so check the selected location if the Downloads folder is empty.

Save a TikTok video on Android

  1. In TikTok, open a video you are allowed to save and tap Share then Copy link.
  2. Open the browser, paste the link into TiktokDownloads, and select an available video option.
  3. Open the browser's Downloads list to check progress.
  4. If the file is not visible there, open the phone's Files app and check Downloads. Folder names and file apps can vary by Android device maker.

Check the browser's download history or your device's Files app if the file is not immediately visible in the gallery.

Download TikTok audio as MP3

  1. Copy the link to an available public TikTok video.
  2. Choose Audio MP3 on TiktokDownloads and paste the link.
  3. Start the conversion and choose the MP3 download option if it is offered.
  4. Open your browser's Downloads list or your device's Downloads folder to find the file.

The result depends on the source audio and the conversion options shown for that link. Audio quality reflects the uploaded stream without artificial inflation.

Save a TikTok Story

  1. Open a Story that is currently available to you.
  2. Copy its link using TikTok's share controls, if that option is available.
  3. Paste the link into the Story tool and choose a download option if one is returned.
